Maria has been an integral part of First Florida Constructor’s leadership team since 2005, bringing extensive financial expertise, strategic insight, and operational discipline to the company’s continued growth. As Chief Financial Officer, she oversees all aspects of the company’s financial operations, including accounting, treasury management, tax strategy, auditing, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. 

 

With a strong focus on financial stewardship and long-term planning, Maria plays a critical role 

in supporting First Florida’s operational performance, project execution, and overall business strategy. Her leadership helps ensure the company maintains the financial strength and stability 

necessary to manage complex construction projects across multiple markets successfully.

 

Prior to joining First Florida, Maria served as Senior Accounting Manager for the Cisneros 

Group of Companies, where she worked directly with the company’s CEO and CFO within a 

globally recognized enterprise focused on real estate, media, and entertainment.

 

Beyond her role at First Florida, Maria is also deeply involved in the construction finance 

community. She co-founded the Miami-Dade chapter of the Construction Financial Management 

Association (CFMA) and served as the chapter’s President for three years, helping foster professional development and industry collaboration within South Florida’s construction sector.
