Greg Wyka has been leading complex construction projects since 1996, when he first joined First Florida Constructors to oversee the construction management contract for Divi Resorts in Aruba. What began as hands-on field leadership evolved into a career defined by strategic growth, operational excellence, and a deep commitment to client relationships. 

 

Over nearly three decades, Greg has served in virtually every leadership role within the organization — from Superintendent and Project Manager to Vice President and now President & CEO. Throughout his career, he has guided more than $3.6 billion in construction projects and overseen the development of over 24,000 multifamily residences, bringing a rare combination of field experience, executive leadership, and long-term industry perspective to every project. 

 

As Principal and primary owner of the First Florida Companies, Greg remains actively involved in the company’s operations and project execution, maintaining a hands-on approach that reflects the firm’s culture of accountability, collaboration, and attention to detail. 

 

Beyond his work at First Florida, Greg serves on the Industry Advisory Board for the University of Miami’s Master’s in Construction Management Program, helping mentor and shape the next generation of construction professionals. He is also a recipient of the University of Florida’s prestigious Gator100 Award, recognizing entrepreneurial achievement and business growth among distinguished alumni. 

 

Today, Greg continues to lead First Florida with the same philosophy that has guided his career from the beginning - building with integrity, clarity, and a long-term vision for both clients and communities.
